ARKANSAS, Oct 24 (Future Headlines)- French energy company TotalEnergies has announced a partnership with Corio Generation and Rise Light & Power for the collaborative development of a wind project located off the coasts of New York and New Jersey.

Under this arrangement, Corio Generation will acquire a 27.7% stake in the Attentive Energy project, while Rise Light & Power will take a 16.3% stake. In return, TotalEnergies will receive $420 million for its participation in the project, retaining a majority share of 56%.

Upon completion, this offshore wind project is expected to generate electricity for over 1 million homes in both New York and New Jersey, further contributing to the clean energy objectives of the region.
